DOWSIL™ 5562 Carbinol Fluid

Bis-Hydroxyethoxypropyl Dimethicone. DOWSIL™ 5562 Carbinol Fluid acts as a wetting agent and superior suspension aid for pigments, salts and sunscreens. It is a carbinol functional silicone fluid. It posesses moisturizing, smoothness, SPF enhancing, detackifying and non-irritating properties. It offers characteristics such as wide range of compatibilities with both polar and non-polar solvents, enhanced fragrance release and substantivity. It is lighter and more lubricious than polar silicones. Moreover, it is stable in acid/base conditions. DOWSIL™ 5562 Carbinol Fluid finds application in formulating antiperspirants & deodorants, color cosmetics and sun-, facial- & body care products.
