National Lipstick Day is celebrated every year on 29
th July when beauty blogger and entrepreneur, Huda Kattan, registered it to the National Day calendar in 2016. Since then, National Lipstick Day has been celebrated around the world and serves as a reminder to celebrate ourselves and our unique individuality. However, some sources suggest that this day in honor of lipstick has been around for 70 years or more, when it was first created in the 1940s to celebrate the power and beauty of lipstick, according to daysoftheyear.com.
