Biesterfeld Spezialchemie and IFF are expanding their long-term partnership. Biesterfeld Spezialchemie will distribute the GENENCARE® bioactives portfolio and the new functional ingredient line AURIST™ in Turkey, effective immediately.

With this new agreement, Biesterfeld now holds extended distribution rights for products. These products have already been successfully distributed in the personal care sector in the DACH region, Poland, and Ukraine for many years.
The
GENENCARE® bioactives portfolio consists of a range of all-natural, 100% plant-based active ingredients. These deliver benefits across skin, hair care, and color cosmetics. Ingredients in the GENENCARE® personal care bioactives range have achieved certification through the Upcycled Food Association’s (UFA) Upcycled Certified™ Program.
Extracted from a side stream of sugar production, the GENENCARE® OSMS osmolytes contribute to skin health by managing water balance in the skin and within the formulation. They also protect the skin from dehydration. They penetrate the hair shaft and bind to the surface. They help protect, strengthen, and care for healthier-looking hair and scalp.
The new functional ingredient line AURIST™ features
AURIST™ GHI, a natural rheology modifier based on guar gum.
AURIST™ AGC is an in-cosmetics Global award-winning, readily biodegradable conditioning biopolymer. It is based on the new-to-the-world Designed Enzymatic Biopolymer (DEB) platform.
