AURIST™ AGC

Alpha-Glucan Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride (and) Propylene Glycol (and) Water. AURIST™ AGC by IFF’s Health & Biosciences is a cationic conditioning biopolymer. Backed by strong bioscience capabilities, this natural-inspired biopolymer is readily biodegradable and easy to formulate. It can form completely transparent formulations including with anionic ingredients, and does not require pH neutralization.

• It is a polysaccharide derived from the enzymatic polymerization of glucose from responsibly sourced natural sugars.
• It provides smoothing of the hair surface and improves both wet & dry combability.
• It offers broad compatibilities with surfactants, polymers, AURIST™ GHI, chelates, electrolytes and salt.
• It is cold processable, with no pre-mix required.
• AURIST™ AGC is used in rinse-off, leave-on, shampoo and conditioners.
• It has a shelf life of 12 months at temperature below 25°C.
