The present palette of viable preservatives for personal care products has been significantly reduced due to regulatory restrictions and increasing consumer demand for more natural solutions. The naturally derived preservative Neolone® Bio, which is based on Ethyl lauroyl arginate HCl (LAE®), can be an excellent choice. LAE® is listed as a preservative on Annex V of the European Cosmetics Products Regulation. In addition, LAE® has broad spectrum antimicrobial activity, is environmentally friendly, non-sensitizing and non-irritating. In this webinar we will share formulation examples and guidelines to help you use NEOLONE® Bio to its full potential through the selection of ingredients that are compatible with cationics such as LAE®.
