Cosmetic Ingredients derived from animal sources are still not seeing much use in decorative and personal care cosmetic products. This was a question recently posed to the SpecialChem Community. But the result of a recent community vote would lead us to believe otherwise. The vote on whether formulators would be ready to use animal derived ingredients in cosmetic formulations if they were efficient (and there were over 140 respondents) was almost split down the middle between yes and no votes.
