There were a number of points the readers were asked to weigh in terms of importance and the responses were not as varied as one would expect. Most formulators wanted to create a product that was still effective even with a natural/organic claim. After effectiveness, formulators were looking for better texture and lowest cost. All formulators weighed these three points somewhat equally, between 23% and 30% of the respondents.
