According to Mr. Glenn Mouser, Vice President of Research & Development at Omega Technical Laboratories, the company has formulated a new lip gloss that curbs the wearer's appetite. This product, which is called Promise, is sold under the brand name Sunset Creations in Nampa, Idaho and is an all-natural blend of botanical oils that have been used as appetite suppressants for generations, the company states. Being made up with a blend of botanicals, they are not approved or controlled as a drug by the US Food and Drug Administration, so the product does not have to be registered as a drug. This product contains Yerba Mate Extract, Evening Primrose Oil, Grapefruit Oil, Jojoba Oil, Coconut Oil, Ginger Root Oil, Lime Oil, Spearmint Oil, Castor Oil, Vitamin E and Sweet Orange Oil. The sweet orange oil is the main ingredient that is claimed to suppress the appetite.
