Vertasil®

Cosmetics ingredients supplied by Gelest Mitsubishi Chemical

Vertasil® series includes naturally derived, multifunctional hybrid fluids that offer improved solubility and sensory experience when compared to cyclosiloxanes. The incorporation of siloxanes into natural products can transform them into hybrid fluids with properties ranging from light, dry feeling, volatile vehicles to emollient fluids. Vertasil® hybrids are used to enhance slip and reduce greasiness in skincare and color cosmetics. Organic and inorganic pigments are more readily wetted by hybrids than by silicones, facilitating use in foundations, eyeshadows, and blushes.
