SPLENDIONE™

Cyclopentaneacetic acid, 3-oxo-2-(2-pentenyl)-, methyl ester. Acts as a fragrance ingredient. It has an odor reminiscent of the floral heart of jasmin. Petal soft and unctuous. Very elegant and natural. gives rich soft effects not only in jasmin and its family but also in lily of the valley, with aldehydic floral notes and in chypre fragrances. At 1% it can already give floralizing effects but also easy to use up to 20% or more. Contains 0.01% of tocopherol alpha as stabilizer. It shows tenacity for 1 week on a smelling strip. It is used in fine fragrances, shampoo, shower gel, soap, etc.
