JASMOLACTONE®

2H-Pyran-2-one, tetrahydro-6-(3-pentenyl)-. Acts as a fragrance ingredient. It is a very rich and natural floral lactone. It has a floral, jasmine petal-like character with a delicate fruitiness reminiscent of peach, apricot and coconut milk. It has a complimentary effect with jasmine notes and is effective at relatively low concentrations between 0.1 to 1%. Contains no stabilizer. It shows tenacity for 2 weeks on a smelling strip. It is used in fine fragrances, shampoo, shower gel, soap, etc.
