Alcohol (and) Crotonic Acid/Vinyl C8-12 Isoalkyl Esters/VA/Bis-Vinyldimethicone Crosspolymer. BELSIL® P 1101 by Wacker acts as a conditioning agent. It is a silicone-organic hybrid material. It forms a protective sheath around the hair fiber that lasts through several shampooing cycles. Exhibits ability to coat the hair, thereby improving wet and dry combability. BELSIL® P 1101 is provided as a 50 % solution in denatured ethanol. Used in hairstyling formulations and nal polish. It offers strong hold properties, silkiness & softness. It shows good compatibility with DME and butane/propane mixtures. In conditioning applications, BELSIL®P 1101 can help to prevent heat damage to hair by reduced water loss from hair fibers during hot iron or blow drying treatments. It is suitable for color cosmetics, sunscreen & skin care.
