Lauryl Betaine. Mackam® LAB by Verdant Specialty Solutions acts as a high foaming amphoteric surfactant. Used in personal care formulations such as hair and body care products. Mackam® LAB performs well even when formulated at extremes of pH. It is biodegradable, hydrolytically stable and preservative-free grade. Mackam® LAB exhibits low odor and modest conditioning action in shampoos. It is derived from coconut, palm and kernel.
