Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate (and) Phenoxyethanol. TroyCare™ FE02 by Troy Corporation (Arxada) is a broad-spectrum, antimicrobial preservative. It is optimized for systems requiring greater fungicidal protection. It is readily soluble in aqueous systems at use levels. It consists of 2% IPBC (iodopropynyl butylcarbamate), a highly effective fungicide, and 98% phenoxyethanol, a widely accepted bactericide. TroyCare™ FE02 is used to preserve shampoos, conditioners, creams, lotions, sunscreens, make-up, and toiletries.
