Phenyl Trimethicone. Acts as an emollient. It is an organo-modified polydimethylsiloxane with improved substantivity, increased shine, and added lubricity to various products. In skin care and color cosmetics, it adds smooth feel, improves spreading with reduced greasiness and tackiness. It delivers lubrication with wash-off resistance. In antiperspirants and deodorants, it helps reduce white residue. In hair care products, it provides wet feel with reduced drying time, shine and manageability. In shower products and shaving, it imparts smooth afterfeel.
