PETAX® 0386A

Petrolatum. PETAX® 0386A by The International Group is a complex semi-solid combination of paraffin wax, microcrystalline wax and white mineral oil. This semi-solid dispersion of liquid and solid hydrocarbons shows a salve-like unctuous consistency. It offers lubricity and moisture barrier properties. This product possesses medium consistency (hardness) and fiber length. It is used in personal-care products including ointments, creams, balms, lotions and conditioners. It complies with the requirements for white petrolatum set by the USP. PETAX® 0386A also meets the FDA requirements 21 CFR 178.3700 for use in non-food articles in contact with food.
