PTFE. Tefpoly® WL 3 PUR by The Innovation Company acts as a texturing agents. It is photostable, easily glides on with ease and provides soft and elegant feel. Improves application and wear qualities of formulations. Possesses good heat stability and it is not sensitive to grinding nor homogenizing. In emulsions, it should be pre-dispersed into the oil phase before emulsification. In powder applications, it should be added to the formulation after the powder base has been formulated. In anhydrous systems, it needs to be pre-dispersed in oil by high shear mixing before being combined with the other ingredients. Tefpoly® WL 3 PUR is used in color cosmetics.
