Herbarie Sodium Benzoate

Sodium Benzoate by The Herbarie acts as a preservative. It is active against yeast, mold and bacteria in cosmetic products that have a pH value of 4.5 or less. It is combined with other antimicrobials (potassium sorbate, leucidal liquid, cosmocil CQ) to reduce the overall pH of the finished product and provides broad spectrum activity. Sodium Benzoate finds application in formulating cosmetic products.
