Extraordinary XG™

Dehydroxanthan Gum. Extraordinary XG™ by The Herbarie acts as a fixative and thickening agent. It is a multifunctional natural polymer derived from xanthan gum. It makes clear gel products instantly without any neutralization. It provides outstanding and long-lasting hold under highly humid conditions, without the tack and flaking. Moreover, it offers ease of use, good UV stability, re-stylability, good suspending ability and smooth & soft skin feel. Moreover, it quickly recovers viscosity following high shear and shows ease of detangling & combing. It is anionic and compatible with silicones, propylene glycol, glycerin, disodium EDTA, tetrasodium EDTA, sodium phosphate, some cationic polymers, acrylate polymers, polyurethane polymers, PVP, native xanthan gum, hydroxyethylcellulose, fatty alcohols and non-ionic emulsifiers. It is not compatible with most surfactants. It is preserved with liquid germall plus. Extraordinary XG™ finds application in formulating skin- and hair care products like gels, serums, glazes, spray gels, mousses, creams/lotions, pomades and other styling aids.
