EMT Polymer

Hydroxyethyl acrylate / Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer. EMT Polymer by The Herbarie acts as an emulsifier and thickener. It is anionic, easily dispersible, not compatible with cationics and emulsifies up to 25% lipids. It functions by swelling in water and is perfect for light & elegant cold-process creams, lotions, serums and other personal care products. Moreover, it can be added to the heated oil phase for hot process emulsions and directly to water to form gels. It leaves the skin feeling soft and conditioned. It can also be used with other emulsifiers to create stability and build viscosity. It is compatible with triglycerides, silicones, emollient esters, fragrances and essential oils. EMT Polymer finds application in formulating skin care serums, creams and lotions at very low usage rate.
