Yarrow Extract-NS

Achillea Millefolium Extract. Yarrow Extract-NS by Natural Solution acts as an anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and skin brightening agent. It is an extract of the leaves and flowers of the yarrow, achillea millefolium. It contains achillin, achillicin, apigenin, luteolin, quercetin and chamazulene as active compounds. It provides softening, pore refining and wound healing. It exhibits anti-inflammatory effect by inhibiting LPS-induced nitric oxide production. Moreover, its essential oil shows melanin synthesis inhibition effect by reducing tyrosinase activity. Yarrow Extract-NS finds application in formulating face washes.
