Phellinus Linteus Extract. Imperial Glucan by Natural Solution acts as an anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic and anti-oxidant agent. It is an extract of the fruiting body of phellinus linteus fungi. It contains proteoglycans, polysaccharides, hispidin and hispolon as active compounds. Its ethanolic extract and hispidin shows anti-oxidant activity by blocking lipid peroxidation and DPPH removal. Moreover, its methanolic extract exhibits anti-inflammatory activity. Imperial Glucan finds application in formulating cosmetic products.
