Cetraria Islandica Extract. Iceland Moss Extract-NS by Natural Solution acts as an anti-oxidant, anti-microbial, immunomodulating and UV protecting agent. It is an extract of the Iceland moss, cetraria islandica. It contains lichenan, protolichesterinic acid, gyrophoric acid and salazinic acid as active compounds. Salazinic acid is a UVA filter booster and provides anti-oxidant activity. Iceland Moss Extract-NS finds application in formulating cosmetic products.
