Poria Cocos Extract. Hoelen Extract-NS by The Garden of Naturalsolution acts as an anti-inflammatory, anti-atopic and anti-oxidant agent. It is an extract of the fungus, poria cocos. It contains triterpenes and polysaccharides as active compounds. Moreover, it exhibits anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-tumor, anti-angiogenesis and anti-hypertonic activities. It shows scavenging of hydroxyl radicals, ABTS radicals and ferrous ions. Its ethanolic extract inhibits iNOS, COX-2, IL-1ß and TNF-a through inactivation of NF-kB signaling pathway.
