Acorus Extract-NS

Acorus Gramineus Root/Stem Extract. Acorus Extract-NS by Natural Solution acts as an anti-inflammatory, anti-allergenic, anti-oxidant and anti-microbial agent. It is an extract of the roots and stems of acorus gramineus, araceae. It contains asarone, isoasarone, eugenol and sesquiterpenes as active compounds. Methanol extract from its rhizomes shows anti-inflammatory effect on NO production in the LPS—stimulated macrophages. Moreover, it exhibits neuroprotective, cytotoxic, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal activities. Acorus Extract-NS finds application in formulating cosmetic products.
