HydraSynol™ IDL

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Sytheon in-cosmetics global 2020
Isosorbide Disunflowerseedate. HydraSynol™ IDL by Sytheon is a smart barrier building and anti-aging agent. It is prepared by reacting isosorbide (obtained from corn) and fatty acids (from sunflower seed oil) using an eco-friendly process. It builds healthy barrier by stimulating multiple genes/ proteins/ lipids and boosts epidermal hydration by increasing filaggrin. This ingredient also stimulates epidermal lipids such as ceramides, fatty acids & cholesterol. It modulates natural exfoliation factors like kalikreines. It also protects the skin against cytokine-induced tissue damage by inhibiting up-stream pro-inflammatory mediators - NFkB, chemokines, TNFα. This lipophilic compound is miscible with esters (caprylic/capric triglycerides, C12-15 alkyl benzoates), vegetable oils (jojoba oil, olive oil) and silicones. The recommended usage level is 2-4% and pH should be <6.5. HydraSynol™ IDL can be used in formulating skin care-, anti-aging-, brightening & even-toning, damaged & compromised skin products. Also used in hydrating sunscreen oils, body- and baby care products.
