Benzylidene Dimethoxydimethylindanone. SymHelios® 1031 by Symrise acts as an anti-aging, anti-wrinkle, anti-stress, and anti-inflammatory active. Reduces stress to skin and protects against long term damaging effects. It binds a protein called the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) in a non-toxic way and helps to prevent the long term damage of UVB radiation. Shields the skin form external environmental influences. It works against visible signs of aging and significantly reduces UVB induced wrinkles and inflammation. SymHelios® 1031 is used in protective skin care products, such as facial creams and sun protection products.
