Chroma-Lite® Violet CL4507

Mica (and) Bismuth Oxychloride (CI 77163) Manganese Violet (CI 77742). Chroma-Lite® Violet CL4507 by Sun Chemical (DIC) is a special effect pigment. It enhances product performance because the colorant is bonded to bismuth oxychloride that is, in turn, coated on mica. It imparts a silky feel to products and offers an excellent balance of luster, transparency and color. It provides smoothness and continuous luster from soft matte to satiny. It has less density and greater mechanical strength than bismuth oxychloride alone. It eliminates the need for grinding and dispersion in the formulation process and can be used alone, in combination with one another, or mixed with other effect pigments. This gives formulators the opportunity to develop complex colors, visual effects and textures. Chroma-Lite® Violet CL4507 is used in color cosmetics & personal care products. It is especially suitable for mineral make-up.
