PEG-160M. PEO®-27P by Sumitomo Seika Chemicals acts as a viscosity improver. This grade is non-ionic, water-soluble, high molecular weight polyethylene oxide (PEO) produced by polymerization of ethylene oxide. It offers dispersing and coagulation properties. When dissolved, the solution shows high viscosity even at low density, making PEO an effective thickener. It is suitable for use in hair waxes and lotions. The recommended shelf life of PEO®-27P is 3 months after delivery.
