Hydroxyethylcellulose. CF-W by Sumitomo Seika Chemicals acts as a protective colloid, thickener, and water-retention, suspending- and dispersing agent. It is non-ionic, HEC (hydroxyethyl cellulose). It offers stable viscosity in aqueous solution & do not gel at either high or low temperatures. It can be stored for long periods without degrading. It remains chemically and physically stable over a wide pH range. CF-W is designed for cosmetic applications.
