Disunfloweroylethyl Dimonium Chloride (and) Sunflower Seed Oil Glycerides (and) Lauryl Lactyl Lactate. STEPANQUAT® Helia by Stepan Company is a naturally derived, bio-based (88%) hair conditioning agent. It is made from non-GMO sunflower oil which is a renewable and sustainable feedstock. This readily biodegradable ingredient is non-irritating, hypoallergenic and mild cationic surfactant. It smoothens hair strand and provides manageable hair. It allows for easy combing on wet and dry hair. It imparts excellent detangling and substantive conditioned feel without build-up. In skin care applications, it offers a unique, soft, conditioned skin feel and emulsification for O/W emulsions. It is free from sulfates, silicones, glycols, animal products, drying alcohols and preservatives. STEPANQUAT® Helia is used in 2 in 1 shampoo, body wash, creams & lotions, hair conditioners and hair styling aids. It is also, used in rinse-off & leave-on formulations, liquid hand soaps and skin feel enhancers.
