Sodium Laureth Sulfate. STEOL® CS-230 by Stepan Company is a foaming and viscosity building agent. It provides improved mildness over sodium lauryl sulfate without sacrificing critical performance attributes, such as foaming and viscosity response. It is readily biodegradable. STEOL® CS-230 is used in mild cleansing products, as well as, baby products, shampoos, bath products, and hand soaps.
