AMPHOSOL® CDB-HP

Cetyl Betaine. AMPHOSOL® CDB-HP by Stepan acts as a foam booster, viscosity builder and antistatic agent. It is a preservative-free mild surfactant derived from natural fatty methyl esters. It improves the viscosity response of sulfate-free surfactant systems and is compatible with anionic, nonionic and cationic surfactants. It is readily biodegradable and is formulated for cold processing and easy handling. AMPHOSOL® CDB-HP is used in shampoos, hand soaps, bubble baths, cream rinses, facial cleansers, shower gels, lotions and hair conditioners. It is listed on TSCA, EINECS, ENCS, DSL, AICS, IECSC, PICCS, NZIoC and EICS inventory. It is available in North America, Latin America, EMEA and Asia Pacific regions.
