Organic Phytowax® Olive 10L40

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Sophim in-cosmetics global 2019
Hydrogenated Olive Oil Decyl Esters. Organic Phytowax® Olive 10L40 by Sophim is an oil-free, non-greasy, vegetable-based texturizing agent and emollient wax. It is obtained by hydrogenation of olive or castor esters. It helps to restore lipids of the skin thanks to their composition in liquid wax-esters similar to stratum corneum. It melts at 40°C for good balance between consistency and soft spreading. It penetrates very easily into the epidermis & helps to moisturize and nourish the skin. It increases the viscosity of the finished product without “soap effect”. It gives “body” and “structure” to the formulations, while bringing them smoothness, “melting effect” and “pleasure”. It is an excellent substitute for animal waxes (beeswax) or petroleum waxes (ozokerit, microcrystallin, paraffin wax). Organic Phytowax® Olive 10L40 is used in creams, lipsticks and other cosmetic products. The grade is certified as 69% organic by Ecocert Greenlife according to COSMOS standard. The shelf life is 2 years.
