Rheomer® SC Plus

Acrylate/ Beheneth-25 Methacrylate Copolymer. Rheomer® SC Plus by Solvay Novecare is a polymer-based rheology modifier and emulsifying agent. It acts as SPF booster (up to 155%) when formulated in sun care products containing organic UV filters (oil & water-soluble) or combination of organic & inorganic UV filters. It is also ideal for multi-functional skin care products containing particulates (pigments) and electrolytes such as BB & CC creams and daily wear products with UV protection. It is suitable for low viscosity oil in water formulations like milks or sprays for body, skin and sun care. It also works as stabilizer and viscosity modifier. It exhibits excellent suspension ability and electrolyte tolerance as it stabilizes high electrolyte and o/w systems containing particles. Rheomer® SC Plus offers improved sensory benefits and texturizing-, cushioning & suspending effects. It is easy to use during processing as it is supplied in liquid form. It is cold-processable, thus saves energy during processing. It gives a distinctive level of boosting performance, superior to any other acrylates/beheneth-25 methacrylate copolymer. It provides smooth & non-tacky feel, gloss, faster absorption and less residue on the skin. This grade is patented, natural origin and preservative-free. Recommended for foundations, creams, lotions and sunscreens.
