Fomblin® HC/SA-18

Polyperfluoroethoxymethoxy Difluoromethyl Distearamide. Fomblin® HC/SA-18 by Solvay acts as a protecting, conditioning, sensory modifier, surface modifier, emulsifier, thickening and superfatting agent. It particularly protects against water soluble irritants reduces stickiness, imparts water and oil repellency to substrates (e.g. pigments and mineral powders). It is effective for effective for W/O, G/O, F/O and other anhydrous emulsions, for use in intermediate compositions for producing multiple and complex emulsions. At lower concentration it can be used as an alternative to natural and synthetic traditional waxes. Fomblin® HC/SA-18 is suggested for use in various conventional and innovative compositions, including fluid and viscous O/W emulsions, multiple and complex emulsions, lipsticks and other decorative compositions, soaps and syndet bars, liquid cleansers, solutions in polar solvents, etc.
