Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside. AC8170 (coconut source) by SOHO ANECO Chemicals is a very mild, low toxic, readily biodegradable, non-ionic surfactant. It is used as a secondary surfactant for cleansing products, because of its foaming performance and ability to reduce irritation. This ingredient is made from natural raw materials, natural alcohols and glucose derived from plants. It offers detergency, wetting, dispersing & surface tension reduction, compatibility and foaming property. It exhibits low irritation to skin and excellent alkaline & electrolyte resistance and can solubilize other ingredients. AC8170 (coconut source) is used in personal care products: day- & night cream, body cream & lotion, shampoo and hand cream. The shelf life of this ingredient is 24 months.
