Panthenol. AC-VB5 (DL-Panthenol) by SOHO ANECO Chemicals is a moisturizing agent. It provides revitalizing and conditioning effects and panthenol possesses humectant-like properties that aid in skin absorption. This hygroscopic powder is a racemic mixture of the dextrorotatory and levorotatory isomers of panthenol. It is the Provitamin of DL-Pantothenic acid (Vitamin B5), which plays a key role in the human intermediary metabolism. It improves the appearance of skin, hair and nails. Also, increases the strength of the hair shaft. AC-VB5 (DL-Panthenol) can be applied in almost all types of cosmetic preparations. It is used in rinse-off & leave-in hair conditioner, hair tonic/serum, facial & body lotions, anti-aging serum and after-sun lotions. The shelf life of this ingredient is 24 months.
