AC-M68

Cetearyl Glucoside and Cetearyl Alcohol. AC-M68 by SOHO ANECO Chemicals is a non-ionic, very mild, low toxic, low irritating, liquid crystal emulsifier based on the HLB system and APG blend. It is totally nature emulsifier and is derived from matter of vegetable origin. Liquid crystal emulsifiers create a lamellar or bilayered structure that mimics the lipid bilayers in our stratum corneum, which may help actives or lipids from our lotions penetrate our skin easier. They also help reduce transepidermal water loss as the lotions hold more water in contact with the skin for a longer period of time. It is stable and easy-to-formulate grade that provides high hydration. This ingredient is compatible with anionic, cationic and other non-ionic surfactants. It possesses good detergency and wetting properties. AC-M68 works well from pH 3 to 12 and is used in skin-, hair- and oral care formulations.
