Silube® 316

Lauryl Dimethicone. Silube® 316 by Siltech is a PEG- & PPG-free, unique multi-hydroxyl functional silicone which acts as a medium HLB emulsifier.

It has no ethoxylated components.
It stabilizes water-in-oil and water-in-silicone emulsions.
It provides novel features, textures and light skin feeling.
It is compatible with electrolytes, UV filters, pigments/colors, powders and other active ingredients.
It also enhances pigment dispersion which minimizes complexity and costs.
It can be used in both cold and hot processes.
It is recommended for formulating sunscreens, make-up, complex emulsion systems, creams, liquid foundations and 2-in-1 creams.
It is also used in mascaras, lipsticks, lip glosses, mousse foundations and eye products.
Silube® 316 has a shelf life of 36 months.
