Cyclopentasiloxane (and) PEG/PPG-18/18 Dimethicone. Silsurf® 400R by Siltech is a high molecular weight silicone processing aid. It provides non-greasy and non-tacky feel. It improves spreading and provides barrier properties for emollient, sunscreens and pigmented products. Silsurf® 400R is used for formulating stable water in volatile silicone emulsions such as liquid foundations and antiperspirant sticks. The shelf life of this ingredient is 36 months.
