Isododecane (and) Lauryl Polydimethylsiloxyethyl Dimethicone/Bis-Vinyldimethicone Crosspolymer. KSG-042Z by Shin-Etsu acts as a thickening agent. It is silicone elastomer and is compatible with organic oils, esters and silicones. It has 3-dimensional crosslinked structure. It uses isododecane as base oil and provides smooth and silky feel to the skin. It produces a matting effect and exhibits good swelling characteristics in silicone fluids and hydrocarbon oil. It improves the stability of personal care products. KSG-042Z is designed for use in skin care and make-up products.
