KF-6105

Lauryl Polyglyceryl-3 Polydimethylsiloxyethyl Dimethicone. KF-6105 by Shin-Etsu is PEG-free water in silicone (W/Si)- and water in oil (W/O) emulsifier. It is based on polyglycerin/alkyl co-modified branched silicone. It shows high solubility with silicones, organic oils and esters. It improves emulsion viscosity and stability. It possesses low HLB and imparts a distinctly soft as well as moist feel. KF-6105 exhibits excellent moisture retainability and emulsions made with it glide easily on the skin. It is designed for make-up and skin care formulations.

KF-6105 is no longer available and is replaced by KF-6105F.
