Shandong Freda Biotechnology-Xanthan gum

Xanthan gum acts as an emulsifier and rheology modifier. It is an extracellular bacterial polysaccharide, produced through fermentation by Xanthomonas campestris using sucrose. It consists of repeating units of five monosaccharaides formed by two D-glucose, two D-mannose, and one D-glucuronic acid. It possesses outstanding viscosity-enhancing property and solubility in water with excellent stability to a large range of temperatures and pHs. It improves the paste state, the dispersion and absorption of products. It is easy filling and extrusion, which can improve moisture retention and cosmetics membrane, to extend the cosmetic effect. It is highly applicable in skin care formulations like lotions and oral care products.
