HA by Shandong AWA Biopharm is a moisturizing agent. It protects skin and keeps water in the skin. It repairs and prevents against the injured skin. This ingredient retards skin aging and thickens & stabilizes emulsification. The high molecular weight variant (=2.0x106) offers high water retention and promotes the regeneration of the cell tissue. Whereas, the ordinary molecular weight variant {(0.80~1.80) x106} provides moisturization and lubrication for a long time. The low molecular weight variant (8,000~50,000) provides easy absorption on skin and increases skin nutrition. HA is used in formulating creams, emulsions, astringents, serums and facial masks.
