Methylchloroisothiazolinone and Methylisothiazolinone. ALT－ KT 14% by Shandong Ailitong New Materials acts as a preservative. It is a light amber colored, clear liquid which does not bioaccumulate. It is biodegradable and degrades rapidly to non-toxic, non-persistent substances in the environment. It is compatible with most components of formulations but the presence of a few agents such as thiols, mercaptans, secondary amines, sulfides and other nucleophiles will cause degradation of the active ingredients.
