SOLAGUM™ TARA

Caesalpinia Spinosa Gum. SOLAGUM™ TARA by Seppic acts as a thickener/stabilizer and texturizing agent. This natural gum is a polysaccharide derived from tara seeds which is used in emulsions and cream-gels. It hydrates instantly in water, this non-ionic polysaccharide can be used hot or cold. It is recommended for medium or thick consistency formulations. It provides a decisive advantage to formulators: high resistance to electrolytes; making it particularly suitable for chassis formulas. It exhibits synergistic behavior with synthetic polymers and gives very soft touch to formulas. It is used in skincare, sun-care, make-up and hygiene (shampoo, shower gel, facial cleanser) products. SOLAGUM™ TARA is approved in China (listed in IECIC 2015) and has ECOCERT, COSMOS and NaTrue Green labels.
