Polysorbate 80. MONTANOX™ 80 LPI by Seppic acts as a hydrophilic solubilizer for active ingredients with low solubility and an emulsifier to formulate oil in water emulsions. It is composed of monoesters of lauric, stearate or oleic fatty acids and has low pH. It is stable in acidic or basic media and in presence of electrolytes. It is compatible with other surfactants and produce highly stable emulsions. MONTANOX™ 80 LPI is used in cosmetic products.
