TITANEL

Synthetic Wax. TITANEL by Sasol acts as a consistency regulator, binder, and film former. It is derived from natural gas and is a high-performance synthetic hard wax. It offers gloss, and temperature stability enhancement in formulations.

• TITANEL provides effective crystallization for reliable stick production processes.
• It stabilizes emulsions and improves temperature resistance, even in sunscreen formulations. It contains no preservatives or antioxidants.
• It is used in creams, ointments, and balms for body-, lip- and hair care products as well as in all stick applications including antiperspirant, deodorants, and lipsticks.
• TITANEL forms stable oil gels and improves the oil binding capacity with many other widely used cosmetic components and with linear silicones.
• It complies with EU Cosmetics Regulation and FDA 21 CFR 175.250.
• It has a shelf life of 5 years.
