SASOLWAX® 5603

Paraffin. Sasolwax® 5603 by Sasol acts as an oil binder and emulsion stabilizer. Its dropping point, melting point, viscosity and consistency can easily be modified/controlled. It creates structure and forms in harder recipes. It exhibits good smoothness, moldability and tack. It helps in modification of gloss, carrier function and contributes to occlusive effect in creams. It interacts with other constituents to form a base material. It binds powders and has conditioning effect in hair-styling products. Sasolwax® 5603 is used in skin creams, lotions, pastes, lipsticks, mascara sticks, decorative sticks and eyeliners.
